Basin Water Resources is seeking an extremely talented Account Manager based in the West Texas Region (Amarillo, Lubbock, Midland, or El Paso) to join our fast-growing organization. They will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to support existing accounts as well as build new business for the company in the West Texas Region for the Heavy Industrial Water Treatment Industry. This includes power plants, Hydrocarbon & Chemical Processing (HPI/CPI), natural gas processing, food processing, and ethanol production.

Our products and services are best suited for industrial water treatment systems ranging from 25 gpm to 2500 gpm capacity. Our focus includes various equipment such as Particulate Filtration, Ultrafiltration (UF), Reverse Osmosis (RO), Deionization (DI), or similar.

We offer equipment products and services in support of industrial water processing such as the following:

  • Capital Projects
  • Temporary & Mobile Water Treatment Rental Systems

The ideal candidate will have 5+ or more years' experience of successful performance in a combined role of existing customer base management and technical sales to the heavy industrial markets mentioned above.

The preferred candidate will have 5+ years' of experience and existing relationships with heavy industries such as Power, HPI/CPI, other industrial clients, and engineering firms. The candidate will also have a strong working knowledge of the technologies and services required to support various water treatment applications.

This candidate will strategically plan their approach to clients and offer compelling water treatment solutions to cater for client's needs. They are responsible for maintaining and developing relationships in order to meet sales goals. Top-notch communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new relationships to grow business and aid expansion effort
  • Maintain existing business
  • Interface with Customers, Sales, and Operations
  • Provide training and technical support for Sales and Operations team members
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events
  • Works with management to set goals, objectives, and targets
  • Plan strategically to assure project success

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years' of industry-related business development experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of successful marketing strategies
  • Focused and goal-oriented
  • Strong working knowledge of the technologies and services required to support the industrial water treatment market applications such as: filtration and separation equipment, Ultrafiltration (UF), Reverse Osmosis (RO), Deionization, etc
  • Strategic and value-based selling
  • Strategic analytical thinker with the ability to translate experience to customer challenges
  • Strong technical writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong working knowledge of the capital sales process and planning cycles with history of successful implementations
  • Existing engineering and leadership relationships within the industrial water markets
  • Must be able to travel up to 50% in the West Texas Region and other domestic areas as needed

Preferred

  • BS/BA in technical discipline such as chemistry, biology, chemical engineering, etc

Working Environment

  • Required to wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for job site which may include: eye, hearing and respiratory protection, protective clothing, steel toe shoes, gloves, hard hats, or face shields

  • Both Indoor and outdoor sites may have high noise levels
  • Site locations may be at a boiler house, cooling tower, water plant, wastewater plant, or a process area
